EX MACHINA: An Adaptation

An adaptation of 'Ex Machina', originally written by Alex Garland.

This ‘Ex Machina’ Adaptation is inspired by the exploitation and male-gaze centred films of the Late 1960’s-early 1970’s. A vision of the ‘perfect woman’, Ava and her observation room are pastiches of an imagined lifestyle that never really existed. Heavily inspired by 1970’s interior architecture and ‘cassette futurism’.
